SCALE GUILLOTINE


The guillotine (English pronunciation: /ˈɡɪlətiːn/ or /ˈɡiː.ətiːn/; French: [ɡijɔtin]) was a device used for carrying out executions by decapitation. It consisted of a tall upright frame from which a blade is suspended. This blade is raised with a rope and then allowed to drop, separating the head from the body. The device is noted for long being the main method of execution in France and, more particularly, for its use during the French Revolution, when it "became a part of popular culture, celebrated as the people's avenger by supporters of the Revolution and vilified as the pre-eminent symbol of the Terror by opponents".[Nevertheless, the guillotine continued to be used long after the French Revolution in several countries



It took about two months to build this guillotine, it was a present for a teacher.













Mini roman catapult / mini catapulta romana



Castles and fortified walled cities were common during this period - and catapults were used as a key siege weapon against them. As well as attempting to breach the walls, incendiary missiles could be thrown inside—or early biological warfare attempted with diseased carcasses or putrid garbage catapulted over the walls.

Designs include the torsion-powered mangonel, onager and ballista, and the gravity-powered trebuchet.

Catapults were gradually replaced by the cannon in the 14th century

This is my mini roman catapult, this is a ( 13.3 cm X 5 cm) Catapult, I built this one using only wood scraps, little nails, a little gear from an electric motor, little pieces of can and cooper wire.

Esta es mi catapulta romana, mide 13.3cm x 5cm, la construi usando desperdicios de madera, clavos,un pequeño engrane de motor electrico, pequeñas partes de lata y alambre de cobre.

This one is 100% made of wood and some pieces of can, I don't use enamel, this is one of my favorite models I've built.

Esta es una catapulta romana hecha 100% de madera y metal. No me gusta usar pintura como puedes ver, es uno de mis modelos que he contruido que mas aprecio.



This is a middle ages scale catapult I built. It took about 2 months to build it. This one really works like an authentic one, the mechanism works with a little gear

Smoothbore aluminium (souvenir) cannon. Able to fire off solid shots or caseshots.

One of the seven decorative souvenir cannon he bought in Bonn, Germany. It has been modified to be fully functionnal. Carefull steps has also been taken for the precise amount of explosive charge on the depending reason that it hasn't been designed for such uses.

Each explosive charge are designed in a way to load the cannon with greater ease and faster. The grapeshot case has been conceived to fire 175 bits of iron and has been improved in a way to stack down more power and to spread out exactly at desired location.




























Estimated solid shot range ~ 80 m.


Small scaled prototype can armour. Research aiming the goal of riveting, and suceeding in moving parts with needles and superglue

Smoothbore brassed rifle barrel, 2 mm caliber.
Detachable iron bayonet. Iron cable trigger actionned with elastic. Steel ramrod. Nordic pine buttstock.
1.8 mm bullet adapted for stabile long range flights. Bullet weight: 0.04 gr.
Firing requires: 6 match
heads per shot and aluminium foil for proping. 0.3 Euros per shot
Fused shot fired on incense contact. Average time required between ingnition contact and firing: 1.7 seconds.
Probability of misfiring due to variable factors: 3/14.
Slow loading process of an average of 4 minutes. Very low recoil. Poor fumes that dissipates quickly when fired.
Accurate shot within 10 m.
Effective range: 20 m.Capacity to pierce trough 0.25 mm iron. Breaches 0.50 mm iron with 0.2 g (heavy) bullets.
Max. range ~ 60 m.
